STUDIO POLICIES
Please, ensure you read and understand the following policies before making any payments. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

BOOKING TIME & OVERTIME POLICY: All bookings are strictly time-based. Set-up, shooting, and pack-up must be completed within the booked time. Clients are required to exit the studio at the exact end time of their booking.

OVERTIME POLICY: Any time spent in the studio beyond the booked session will be treated as a new booking, regardless of duration. Overtime bookings are subject to availability, must be paid immediately, and are charged at the standard booking rate.

END-OF-SESSION PROCEDURE: Clients will be notified when fifteen minutes remain and again, when five minutes remain. At the end of the session, pack-up must be completed immediately, and clients are required to vacate the studio without delay. Clients who are waiting for transportation may remain in the studio reception area only if they are fully packed up and no longer using the space or equipment. This is subject to the studio’s discretion and must not interfere with the next scheduled booking.

FAILURE TO VACATE: Failure to exit the studio at the end of the booked time will result in the session being automatically converted into a new booking, with applicable charges applied. Repeated disregard for studio timing policies may result in refusal of future bookings. Clients who are waiting for transportation may remain in the studio reception area only if they are fully packed up and no longer using the space or equipment. This is subject to the studio’s discretion and must not interfere with the next scheduled booking.

NO-SHOW POLICY: Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled booking without prior notice will forfeit their payment. Please respect our time and the time of other clients by arriving promptly or communicating within 24-48 hours if you are unable to attend.

IN-STUDIO Backdrop rentals are available. Paper backdrops - R100/ph, Hand-painted Canvas Backdrops - R200/ph. You're required to pay for this in the studio via EFT or CASH.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: In cases of rescheduling, kindly inform us within 24-48 hours before your session. Please note that rescheduling is subject to availability. You may contact us via our Instagram @tarawoyestudios or via our email; spacebytarawoye@gmail.com with your booking reference and order number. Kindly note our policies do not accommodate cancellations. However, we're happy to accommodate rescheduling to a later date that works for you, based on availability.

If you want to get ready at the studio - hair/makeup preparations- Please notify us at least 24 hours before your session to ensure that the makeup room is available for you. Usage of the room is at no additional charge.

STUDIO CAPACITY & GUEST POLICY : Clients are allowed to bring a maximum of four (4) people in the studio at any given time, including the client, photographer, videographer, and any guests. This policy applies to all bookings, including brands sessions, but excludes family shoots. For family shoots, the number of people must be communicated in advance and approved by the studio. Larger groups may require a different booking structure or additional fees. Any additional persons beyond the approved number will incur a fee of R200 per person or may be asked to wait outside the studio.

For half-day and full-day bookings, larger teams may be accommodated upon prior arrangement with the studio.

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while in the studio. Thank you for your cooperation.

Wardrobe Steaming Policy: A light steaming service (up to 2 garments) is included in your booking. Steaming beyond this is considered extended wardrobe preparation and will incur a fee of R50 per additional garment or be billed as a wardrobe preparation add-on. To ensure a smooth and efficient session, clients are advised to arrive with outfits ready. All steaming is carried out within your booked time.

For liquor, food and beauty campaign sessions, clients are required to sign a contract upon arrival at the studio. This contract states that any stains or property during the session will result in the client being charged a replacement or repair fee. This policy ensures the upkeep and quality of the studio for all users.

Foods and drinks are not allowed in the studio space. This excludes events, half day/full day sessions and birthday cakes.

Clients are permitted to decorate the studio to suit their creative vision. However, it is mandatory that everything be returned to its original position, and the studio must be left in the exact condition it was found upon arrival -- all within the time they have booked.

The Studio Assistant is present solely to assist and facilitate your session and is authorized to enforce all studio policies, including time management, session end times, and client exit procedures. They're not responsible for executing your tasks or creative directions. However, the assistant is available to provide support or guidance as needed, so please don't hesitate to ask for assistance when required.

The client(s) will be held responsible for any loss or damage to studio property or equipments.
