STUDIO POLICIES

Please, ensure you read and understand the following policies before making any payments. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

  • To book the studio space, a FULL payment must be made. This payment must be made via EFT into the studio's bank account, with the client's full name as a reference and a receipt of your payment must be shared with us via our email - spacebytarawoye@gmail.comto confirm your booking. Please note, your booking will only be confirmed once we've received your full payment. Once the payment is confirmed, a confirmation email and the full address of the studio will be shared with you. 

  • IN-STUDIO Backdrop rentals are available. Paper backdrops - R100/ph, Hand-painted Canvas Backdrops - R200/ph. You're required to pay for this in the studio via EFT or CASH. 

  • CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: In cases of rescheduling, kindly inform us within 24-48 hours before your session. Please note that rescheduling is subject to availability. You may contact us via our Instagram @tarawoyestudios or via our email; spacebytarawoye@gmail.com with your booking reference and order number. Kindly note our policies do not accommodate cancellations. However, we're happy to accommodate rescheduling to a later date that works for you, based on availability.

  • NO-SHOW POLICY: Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled booking without prior notice will forfeit their payment. Please respect our time and the time of other clients by arriving promptly or communicating within 24-48 hours if you are unable to attend.

  • If you want to get ready at the studio - hair/makeup preparations- Please note that you'll be doing so within your booked time. Please do not arrive earlier than your booked time for preparations, as a session could be ongoing and we do not encourage disruption. NOTE: We do not have a waiting area.

  • Clients are allowed to bring a maximum of two guests, excluding their photographer and videographer, making a total of four people. Any additional person beyond this will incur a fee of R200 per person or be asked to wait outside the studio. Only the client is permitted to use the studio setups for photos. This Policy does not apply to group sessions such as Family shoots or brand shoots.

  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while in the studio. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • For liquor, food and beauty campaign sessions, clients are required to sign a contract upon arrival at the studio. This contract states that any stains or property during the session will result in the client being charged a replacement or repair fee. This policy ensures the upkeep and quality of the studio for all users.

  •  Foods and drinks are not allowed in the studio space. This excludes events, half day/full day sessions and birthday cakes.

  • Clients are permitted to decorate the studio to suit their creative vision. However, it is mandatory that everything be returned to its original position, and the studio must be left in the exact condition it was found upon arrival -- all within the time they have booked.

  • The Studio Assistant is present solely to assist and facilitate your session. They're not responsible for executing your tasks or creative directions. However, the assistant is available to provide support or guidance as needed, so please don't hesitate to ask for assistance when required.

  • The client(s) will be held responsible for any loss or damage to studio property or equipments.

  • The studio will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of property.

  • By proceeding with payments, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
